Es hora de viajar en el tiempo. Nuestros apreciados 80's aún no están muertos, por mucho que se haya abusado de ellos aún tienen mucho fuego. Los 90's no desbancan la era dorada de los sonidos sintéticos. Viajemos en el tiempo y en el espacio, vamos a NY, a Manhattan y entremos en un club donde se respira baile y jolgorio. Estamos hablando del Roxy, uno de los clubs más históricos del mundo.

Funk, Disco y baile mezclado con la cultura del breakdance y el vistoso mundo del Roller Disco. Verdaderas influencias de lo retro tanto musical como estéticamente. El alemán OHYEAH ha decidido recuperar todo el espíritu nacido en aquél punto y que se extendió hasta convertirse en cultura, y plasmarlo en tres temas para formar este Roxy EP.

Una fusión perfecta de tres temas basados en el funk y el disco y llevados al house, a la pista más hedonista y sonriente. 'Roxy' es una receta de sintes y vocales sampleados y recortados. Un saxo en el último cuarto del tema te hace mirar atrás y acordarte de la noche de los 80s. 'Electric Boogie' es la energía que te sobra un sábado a las 2 de la mañana, un tema con el que no bailar se va a hacer difícil. El bajo a medio tema se convierte en magia y cuando acaba de petar el tema vuelve a ser hora de levantar los brazos. Merecedor de la etiqueta EPIC.

Finalmente con 'Want You' bajan las revoluciones y nos situamos en el viaje de vuelta a casa después de habernos camelado a la morena de la barra, bebiendo ponche y habiendo gastado las zapatillas.

It's time for time travelling! Our lovely 80s have been abused insanely, but they still have a lot of fire to burn dancefloors. It's time to go back to the 80s and our destiny will be Manhattan, NY and we'll go to a club where you can breath and feel the dancing and partying essence. We're talking about Roxy, one of the most famous clubs in the history.

Funk, Disco and House mixed with the Breakdance culture and the lightfull Roller Disco world. Truly retro influences in music and fashion taken back by our german guy OHYEAH who absolutely made a capture of the spirit of this ages and pasted it on a 3 track release named Roxy EP.

A perfect fusion of funk, disco and house ready to get to the most hedonist and smiling dancefloor. 'Roxy', the first track, is a synth, bass and sampled vocals delightful track. A sexy and nostalgic sax in the last quarter of the track will make you look back in time and remember the 80s nights. 'Electric Boogie' is a full time energy track, awesome bass and magic vocals that will make you dance again and again with your hads up in the air. Deserves the tag "EPIC".

Finally, "Want You" is the perfect track to go back home after winning a sweet Fly Girl over, drinking punch and burning rubber. "Want You" is what you're gonna say that girl. You are a real winner.
